On 23rd August 2022, a one-day seminar on ‘introduction to innovation and IIC’ was organized in the 2nd year PG classroom at 10:30 am. The resource person for the session was Ms. Sherin Mary Simon, Innovation Ambassador-IIC Moe, Govt of India; Assistant Professor Department of Food Processing Technology St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. The participants were 1st year PG students.

The session had its focus on the role, importance, benefits and functions of IIC. The speaker highlighted the benefits of IIC, which is initiative of Ministry of Education, Government of India; which was established for the purpose of systematically fostering the culture of innovation in all higher education institutions across the country. The speaker gave a viable business idea and a brief overview on entrepreneurship.
