WILDLIFE WEEK CELEBRATIONS, 2020 AND WEBINAR ON ‘Let us go wild for Wildlife’

To generate awareness among Students towards Nature and Wildlife and to highlight the importance of  its conservation, Department of Zoology conducted Wildlife Week celebrations during the month of November from 23rd Nov-27th Nov 2020  in online mode through Google meet. A total of 10 competitions were  organised for Students to remind them the importance  of maintaining a balance between Life and the Mother Nature. The celebrations were officially concluded by a webinar on the topic “Let us go wild for Wildlife”  by Dr. Gigi Joseph, Assistant Professor, Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha, on 27th November 2020. The event was conducted through Google meet platform. The talk was indeed inspirational for young wildlife conservationist minds.  He also talked about how these animals were important in the Ecosphere and made us think of how little our knowledge is regarding the creatures around us. The webinar ended with the announcement of winners of the wildlife week celebration competitions.
