Department of Bharathanatyam conducted a 3 day International webinar on performing arts titled‘Natya pravah’from 25th to 27th November. Our eminent resource persons were Sri.S.L Muhamad Rashan from Australia(his topic was ‘How to create your own costume’),Ms.Ramya Harisankar from USA(topic was ‘Art of Abhinaya-Continuing Kalanidhi Narayan’s Legacy’),Dr.Sreelatha Vinod(topic-‘Dance references in Silapathikaram’) and Sri Ramamoorthy Sreeganesh from Chennai(Topic-Adeptness of Tala in Dance’) ,Dr.R.LV Ramakrishnan(Topic-Gender discrimination in dance) and Dr.Lakshmi Shankar(Topic-Krishnanattam text and stage presentation) from Kerala.98 participants were attended the webinar. Paper presentation was also conducted as a part of this webinar.
