“Exploring the vivid Culture of India”

The students of the III DC B.Sc. Apparel and Fashion Design did a detailed study in groups of students about the lifestyle, arts and crafts, culture, customs and costumes of the people of a various states of India. They presented a documentary of their research and set up an ambience which represents the geographic conditions of the state. They showcased the traditional dances, costumes, food, textiles and handicrafts, occupations of these particular states.

This presentation enables the students to understand the Indian culture and traditions and helps them to understand our country in a better way.

The students had done a presentation on the states of Punjab, West Bengal and Orissa from 18th September 2019 to 2oth September 2019
