Psychometric Assessment For Mentally Challenged

The Department of Psychology in collaboration with the V-Guard Foundation undertook a psychometric assessment for the students of Chavara Vocational Training Center for the Mentally Challenged in Koonamaavu on 4th Oct 2019.

The assessment was conducted under the guidance of Clinical Psychologist Dr. Sangeetha P.L. 25 students from the 2nd and 3rd B.Sc Psychology assessed the mentally challenged students using the Vineland Social Maturity Scale. The students of the department were also given hands-on training in writing the assessment reports and gaining familiarity with the process of psychometric assessment.
