PLASTIC FREE ZONE – St. Theresas Golden Jubilee Project

St. Theresa’s Golden Jubilee Project

St. Theresa’s Golden Jubilee Project– Plastic Free Zone – Sale of ‘Jute Bags‘ at subsidized rates at annual Old Students Association (OSA) Sale on December 7th 2011.

Plastic Free Zone

The ‘Plastic Free Zone’ project is a program that particularly aims to create an awareness on the danger of plastic usage and measurably reduce plastic pollution. This awareness project in the college promoted the students and public to use natural and degradable resources like jute.  The Old Students Association in St. Theresas has made a  ‘ Jute bag Sale ‘ too in the campus to make an awareness programme. As it was the promotional sale, the rate was less and gave the jute bags for subsidized rates. The project was a grand success and many people bought the products.
