The Department organised National Environment Awareness Campaign on 8th January, 2014. The programme was sponsored by Centre for Environment and Development (MoEF, Govt. Of India). The theme of the programme was Biodiversity Conservation. As a part of it an outreach programme was conducted on Plant cultivation Techniques for the home makers. A very informative exhibition on plant biodiversity and biodiversity conservation was also conducted.
