Interactive Session: Pathways to Australian Education and International Summer programs

Teresian International organised an international interactive session for the students of the college on 15-1-19 in the Library AV room. Professor Ganesh Koramannil from Charles Darwin University, Australia engaged a session for the students on Courses in Higher Education and Professional Opportunities offered in Australia. He introduced the country, the geographical features, the industry, business opportunities and career choices offered in Australia. The various courses offered by the University was also discussed. The programme which was attended by thirty students from across departments was also a platform which was open to interaction.
During the second half of the session, the coordinators of the international wing conducted an orientation programme for the students interested in participating in the Summer Programme to Richmond University, UK and the Indo Swedish Academic Exchange Programme. Dr. Latha R. Nair who spoke on the occasion briefed the students about her stint at Richmond. Georgina, Riya and Rose who participated in previous Summer Programmes at Richmond made an engaging presence with their informal interactive session, which was thoroughly engaging. The students enthusiastically participated in the discussion, which followed.
