Industrial visit to Palm Fibre Private Limited; 22Jan19

The students and faculty members of Department of Management Studies visited Palm Fibre Private Limited on 22 January 2019.Palm Fibre Pvt Ltd has steadfastly remained a closely held family business that believes in partnering long term with its customers by providing them best Quality and Service and that too by following the highest Social and Ethical Standards. Palm Fibre is proud to be one among the largest manufacturers and exporters of various natural quality products made from like Coir, Jute, Rubber, Wool etc in its facilities in Allapuzha.

The Palm Fibre production team gave the students a brief introduction about the factory. The production team explained the whole process in making mats and rugs which involved cutting, trimming, painting, dying, metal detection and packing. They also explained the shipping and exporting of these products. After visiting the factory the company gave the students  the privilege to visit the showroom which is not always open to the general public.  After leaving the industry, the students also went to Arthunkal church and spend quality time in beach .
