FOSTER – Fostering Scientific Temper, Enquiry and social Responsibility

 

 

‘FOSTER’, a forum to foster scientific temper, enquiry and social responsibility is an initiative of the Department of Botany and Centre for Research to give direction to students towards social committed research. The Forum has faculty and researchers from various national and international institutions in its Advisory Board, who would render advice and suggestions and also motivate and update students on scientific development and their scientific social responsibility.

 

In association with DBT-STAR College Scheme the forum was launched on November 18, 2020, at 5 PM over Google Meet. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Susan Eapen Ph.D., Adjunct Professor in Biosciences Group Union Christian College, Aluva and the chief guest was Dr. A. P. Jayaraman, Chairman, National Centre for Science Communicators & President, STEAM Academy.
