The final year UG students were taken for an ecotourism field trip to Mangalavanam Bird Sanctuary on 12. 11.2015. The Range Officer detailed the students on the ecological importance of the sanctuary which is the green lung of Kochi city. The students enjoyed the biodiversity of the area. They could observe various mangrove species and their associates. The trip was educational and informative. Dr. Liza Jacob and Smt.Umadevi P.S accompanied the students.
