On the 24th of February, the Department of French organized an activity to celebrate two French traditions: la Chandeleur and Mardi Gras.
The program started with a quick presentation on these two events: what are their origins? How do French people celebrate these traditions nowadays?
It was then followed by a little “goûter“, the French way. Students brought homemade crêpes, some toppings, and juices for everyone to share. Many of them wore carnival makeup, for the Mardi Gras part of the event.
BA French students and MTTM students together shared a great moment, eating delicious crêpes and cake while listening to French music.
