World environment day was celebrated in the department with the theme “Join the race to make the world a better place”. The students presented posters and collage on the theme. A very inspiring speech on the need to protect environment was also made. The HOD, Ms.Sajithamony T.M., discussed simple and practical ways the students can stay close to nature. Saplings were distributed to the students. A selfie contest is also organized in the regard.
