The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in collaboration with the Bhoomitra Sena Club in connection with International Plastic bag Free Day organised a T-shirt bag making workshop on 3rd July 2023. Students were requested to make a bag out of old T-shirt with the guidance of a youtube video uploaded by the Bhoomitra Sena Club. The workshop was co-ordinated both by the faculty Ms Dhanalakshmi O M and the students Ms Alka and Ms Abayambikai of 3 DC Maths A and B respectively. Overall the students made a total of 42 bags.
