St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam in collaboration with CISI and Greenapple conducted a
workshop for B.Com (Capital Market) students on stock market trading on July 4th, 2022. The
session was lead by Prof. (Dr.) George V Antony, Strategic Consultant (India) CISI UK and Regional Director (Kerala), Institute of Directors.
Dr. George V Antony began the session with the basics of trading and investment. Tracking the movement of share prices using price charts and historical data was explained in detail. Creation of Demat account, buying and selling of shares in a stock market were also touched upon. The one hour session was very engaging and informative for the students looking forward to build their career in the field of. capital market.
