WORKSHOP ON SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT AND VERMICOMPOSTING

A workshop on ‘Solid waste management and Vermicomposting’ organized by the Department of Zoology and Sahrudaya welfare society, Ponnurunni funded by DBT- Star College Scheme was conducted on 15^th October 2019. The workshop began by invoking the blessings of God Almighty. Miss Pooja of 3^rd DC delivered the welcome speech. The workshop was led by Mr. Jees Paul. The classes were interesting as well as informative and also included demonstrations of Vermicomposting apparatus. Students from the department of Home Science and Botany also attended the workshop. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Aswathy A R, Association Secretary.
