The You Matter Counseling and Wellness Center of the Department of Psychology collaborated with Care of Minds, Cochin to conduct a webinar on “Psychological First Aids and Emotional Hygiene” for the faculty counselors of all the departments of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam on 5th Nov 2020 from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. The Resource Persons for the webinar were Dr. Fr. Rajeev Michael and Dr. Sr. Roshin Kunnel from Care of Minds who gave deep insights to the faculty counselors on how to provide psychological support to students in distress as well as taught methods of building emotional hygiene. The objective of the program was to help the faculty in addressing student’s problems as well as to provide adequate coping methods in resolving issues of students. The program was attended by 32 faculty members from all departments of the college and was well received.
