In collaboration with the Victims Rights Center (VRC), a project of Kerala Legal Services Authority (KELSA), the Head of the Department of Psychology, Asst. Prof. Bindu John visited the women prisoners of Viyur Prison to offer mentoring and counseling along with the VRC team. The program also saw a prize-giving ceremony for the winners of the Inter-Prison Quiz Competition held as part of Republic Day celebrations for prisoners by the VRC team in January 2023. The Chief Guest of the program was Honorable Justice Jayasankaran Nambiar of Kerala High Court. The women prisoners also put up a cultural program for the day.
