This year, St. Teresa’s College has been selected as a Participating Institution (PI) for the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship programme of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India to uplift rural India. The mission of UBA is to enable participating higher education institutions including IITs, NITS and IISER among others, to work with the people of rural India in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. The college has identified five villages recommended by the honourable District Collector for conducting the UBA programme. The five villages selected are Mulavukad, Njarackal, Cheranelloor, Kunnukara and Kuzhipilly.
