A two day UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘Trends In Biodiversity Studies’ was organised by the Department on the 4th and 5th of December 2014.The Seminar was inaugurated by the renowned environmentalist, Dr. Madhav Gadgil, Founder and former Director of CES, IISC, Bangalore. The seminar was a great success with the participation of students and teachers from various colleges in Kerala. There were 18 paper presentations on biodiversity.
