The 2018 World Disability day theme which is “Ensuring inclusiveness and equality”. As a part of World Disability day, the department of Home Science conducted a two day state level seminar on “Life-long learning-a neurodevelopmental perspective” on third and fourth December 2018. The seminar was attended by students from BCM College Kottayam and Morning Star college Angamali. The first day and second half day of seminar was taken by Smt. Rathi Gopinath, Director of Shishya Learning Center Calicut and the second day was taken by Mrs. Nimmy Raghavan, a Montessori teacher at Nahjat public school Bangalore.
