INDIAN CONSTITUTION AND THE RIGHTS OF CITIZENS
About the Course
The chief architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar regarded Constitutional morality as not a natural sentiment, rather one to be cultivated among the citizens. As elucidated in the Fundamental Duties of the Indian Constitution it is the duty of the citizens to oblige with the Constitution of India. Therefore, until one gains a basic understanding of how to safeguard one’s life and livelihood through legal methods and guaranteed rights, the dream of a developed and progressive society shall remain an ideal-to-be-achieved.
Legal Literacy is essential for the survival of our Constitutional Democracy.
