On 3rd June, 2021 a webinar was conducted for the students of the department on the topic ‘An orientation on the latest library and information resources. The programme started at 2:30 p.m. with a welcome note. Sr. Divina Rosiline D’Silva, Librarian, St. Teresa’s College was the resource person for the webinar. The primary objective of the webinar was to familiarize the students with the various software’s for reference management which is a pre requisite for enhancing research skills. The participants were also made aware of the different e-resources such as INFLIBNET, e-PAATHSALA e.t.c. that can be accessed from the library website. A total of 118 participants including the faculty attended the session. The webinar was conducted under the able leadership of Dr. Elizabeth Reshma M T and Miss Ann Mary John . Miss Jittymol Xavier of I MSc Mathematics was the student coordinator for the programme. The participants were acquainted with the reference management tool Zotero and the software for checking plagiarism. They were also given training for accessing the various e- resources available in the library website.
