The compact Defender tethers were designed with control in mind, anchored by the tip control carabiner. This carabiner slips on finger to absorb the tension of the line and allow for ease of use when operating the tethered tool.  

The compact Defender is ideal for keeping fishing gear close at hand or on body, with a 36” Dyneema cable that is better suited for lighter tools. The compact lends itself to an additional mounting option, a threaded pin that can attach directly to a shirt, coat, or wader strap. A slip lock holds the carabiner in place when not in use.
