A National Level Talk titled ‘Photography: Passion to Profession’ was organized by the Department of Communicative English, St.Teresa’s College (Autonomous) Ernakulam. The session was led by Mr.Jinu Joseph, a corporate photographer and an entrepreneur of Dew Dot. The Director, Dr Sr. Vinitha felicitated the gathering. While addressing the audience the chief guest shared snippets of his experience as a photographer. He said its imperative for a good photographer to be a good human being. And women have a propensity to be good photographers because of their approach to clients. This makes them sought after photographers. The talk was organized in association with a photography exhibition ‘Interpreting the Mahatma’ to commemorate the upcoming 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi. The talk was followed by prize distribution for the best photographs.
