India International Science festival (IISF) is organized annually since year 2015. It is a joint venture of Ministry of Science & Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) a well-known science movement of the country. This Outreach Programme on IISF 2020 was being jointly organized by Field Outreach Bureau Ernakulam, Press Information Bureau Kerala, CSIR-NIIST Thiruvananthapuram, Vijnana Bharati and Department of Zoology, St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, on December 17th, 2020 at 11:30am on Google meet platform; with around 90 participants. The program started with a Prayer song. Welcome Address was given by Shri Ponnumon LC, Field Exhibition Officer, Field Outreach Bureau Ernakulam. Keynote Address by Dr. Neetu Sona M., Joint Director, Regional Outreach Bureau, Thiruvananthapuram. Shri Navin Sreejith, Assistant Director, PIB Thiruvananthapuram, gave the felicitation. The session was continued by the Science Talk handled by Dr Radhakrishnan, Senior Principle Scientist, CSIR – National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST). And at last a Brief description on IISF 2020 was given by Dr C M Joy, Former Registrar, Kerala Forest Research Institute, Associate Professor (Retired) and Governing Council Member, International Institute of Waste Management.
