Open Mic – “Mic Testing 2.0”

On 17th August, 2023, the Department of English and Centre for Research hosted “Mic Testing 2.0” as a prelude to the annual literary fest, Panache. The primary goal of the event was to raise funds for the fest. Around 500 tickets were purchased by students who were interested in attending the Open Mic. The event commenced at 1.15 PM at the Arts Auditorium. Renowned playback singer and composer, Job Kurian was the chief guest.

An array of musical bands and dance crews performed on stage. The theme of Panache 2023 – “KOCHELLA” – was revealed. Following this, individual performances were staged. The programme ended with a jamming session.
