The English Association of the Department of English and Centre for Research conducted an Open Mic event- Mic Testing. It was open to all performers and audiences from the college as well as from other institutions. 26 performers including bands, slam poetry, dance groups and solo performances performed on stage with huge audience support.
The event also acted as a curtain raiser to Panache. Karthik Krishnan (@thehumblemusician on Instagram), a popular singer and songwriter opened the show with a beautiful mix of songs. RJ Shelvin, a famous Radio Jockey, actor and comedian revealed the theme for Panache which is – Comix, a take on Comic Con. The open mic ended at 6:30 pm.
