On 9th November 2018,a one day seminar was conducted by the department of Mathematics and Statistics on Applied Mathematics. The talk was divided into 3 sessions. The first session was taken by Mr. SukrithB ,Research Scholar department of Computer Applications CUSAT. He focused on Applied Mathematics and its Applications. For the second session invited speaker was Ms. Lexy Alexander(Alumini),Scientist D (DRDO) centre for artificial intelligence and robotics , Bangalore) and for the third session the speaker was Ms.Linu Pinto(Alumini) Research scholar department of mathematics CUSAT. The welcome address was delivered by Mrs.Susan Mathew Panakkal( head of department of mathematics St.Teresa’s College Ernakulam) and vote of thanks was delivered by Blessy Johnson of III DC Maths. The audience were from III DC Maths and PG. 68 students were enriched with the sessions.
