A math championship conducted in memorial of Rev.Sr.Christabelle for classes 10,11,12 irrespective of the syllabus. The program was conducted on two days 18.12.2021 and 19.12.2021. the main object of the programme is to improve the knowledge of students by providing tips and tricks and to improve the mathematical skills by means of quiz competition.
The introductory session was by Dr A. Sunny Kuriakose Academic Secretary, K.M.A. Welcome speech by Ursala ma’am. This was followed by an online quiz organised by the students of the dept awarding the winning students cash prize. The next day we had a session with Prof.Dr.Ambat Vijayakumar. SCHEDULE Emeritus Professor, Department of Mathematics, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), a welcome speech by Dr Susan Mathew Panakkal, and the final rounds of the quiz competition. On both days we also had informative sessions handled by the students of this dept.
The webinar helped students to learn new tricks to solve mathematical problems and to improve their maths skill. there were a total of 202 participant for day 1 and 122 participants for day 2.
