The Department of Fashion Designing conducted a show which showcased a collection of garments and crop tops made from Chendamangalam Handloom Mundu on 21st November 2022. The crop tops were made in standard measurements which can be worn by mixing and matching with appropriate bottoms. All the garments were embellished based on different artforms, culture and architecture of Kerala. The embellishment includes hand embroidery, mirror work, bead work, painting etc.

The intention behind this initiative is to support the traditional weavers of Kerala.
