International Yoga Day Celebration of s.t Teresa’s College !!! The students of the English Department celebrated Yoga day through yoga practice sessions. By conducting yoga practices it enables the students to get know and practice yoga well. We are humans, all are confronted with many problems, stresses, and troubles. So in this particular confusing situation, Yoga acts as a key to unlock all the problems. It is a kind of practice which gives everyone a mental, physical and spiritual relief. Morning is considered as the most preferable time to practice yoga. Because it refreshes our mind and helps to attain a fit body and makes you enough flexible.
International Day of Yoga commonly called as yoga day. It is celebrated annually on 21 June. The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his UN address suggested the date June 27. Because this day is considered as the longest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere. Modi in his addressing time stated about the relevance of Yoga.
“Yoga is an invaluable gift of Indian tradition. It controls. or embodies the unity of mind and body. Thought and actions. The fulfillment of mind and restraint. It acts like the harmony between man and nature. Everyone would try to compatible with the serene nature. fabulous greenery and nature. It is a holistic approach to health and well being. Yoga is not an exercise moreover the main aim is to discover the sense of oneness and a sense of belonging.
Students of our English Department take an initiative to celebrate Yoga day. they bring out many yoga practices. Before the practice, it is necessary to know the steps. Go ahead. Check out the steps.
Asanas… Yoga activists would be familiar with the term. Keep your body free and free out your mind for a while. Concentrate on your activity. Be more compatible with the atmosphere.
While practicing asanas, it should be slowly. Do in a relaxed manner. Try to give more concentration. Keep your body flexible and try to make sure that all your postures are in a good manner. Do not hold the breath unless it is specially mentioned. Breathing should be always through nostrils. Do not hold the body tightly. It takes some time to get good results. Only through consistent and persistent practices would help to achieve good results.
In short by practicing yoga one can heal their stress and most likely they would be more compatible with nature. Moreover, it not only gives you relief but also helps to give a flexible body.
As yoga being popular and holistic it gives much relief from problems. By Conducting International Yoga Day celebration by the English Department.
