An inter collegiate quiz competition on Wildlife and Environment was organised in association with Green Leaf Wildlife magazine, Directorate of field publicity, Government of India and Cochin South Rotary Club on 6th August 2014. Dr. Raman Nair, Director of SCMS College, Kalamaserry was the chief guest. Smt. K.A. Beena, Assistant Director of Directorate field Publicity, Government of India, Mr.Arun Sreedhar and Mr. George, Director Board members of Rotary Club were the other dignitaries present. Students from many colleges came for the competition and six teams qualified the preliminary round. Mr. P.P. Ajimon, IMG faculty, Kakkanad was the quiz master. Thajudeen and Sujin of Sree Sankara College bagged the 1st prize. Deepa Noble and Subhalakshmi of Sacred Heart College, Ravisankar and Joseph Thomas of SB College won the 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
