As part of the World Environment Day celebrations, the III DC and II DC students of the department of Zoology participated in an inter collegiate essay and poster designing competition organized by the Dept. of Biotechnology, at Al-Ameen College, Edathala on 15th June, 2016. The event was sponsored by KSCSTE, Trivandrum. The event was held as four different sessions which included a seminar on “Environmental Hazards in Kerala”, general activities like planting tree samples, awareness programs based on environmental issues and the inter collegiate competitions.
