An Innovative fashion show was presented for the Kerala Innovation Week at Kerala Startup Mission, Kalamassery by the Department of Fashion Designing on 28th May 2022. The fashion show comprised two rounds, the first of which was a collection of stitched sarees of the traditional drapes of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Coorg, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. This collection was designed and developed by the students of I Master’s Programme in Fashion Designing (2021-23 batch). The second round was a collection of sustainable garments made by redesigning and restyling unused garments and fabrics.
