An Industrial visit was arranged by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics for MSc. Applied Statistics and Data Analysis (2021-2023) Students at Cochin Smart Mission Limited (CSML), Kaloor on Saturday, 15th October 2022.Eighteen Students visited the Integrated Command Control and Communication Center (IC4) accompanied by Ms. Anu Mary John.
An Interactive Session led by Mr. Anoop Nair introduced the unit IC4 developed by CSML, Kochi. All the city’s resources, its working and how their activities are being closely monitored was demonstrated in session. A demonstration of Data Analysis Procedure and how the daily reports are being utilised in the Analysis for future development was shown.
The students were able to witness the running of the entire city’s resources from the workspace and understand how big and important the role of a Data Analyst has in developing a city.
