On Friday, August 12, as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav two competitions were held at the department afternoon from 2.20pm-3.20pm. The competitions included Har Ghar Jhanda – waste to wealth and Bharat Ka Rang-splash your colours. Jar ghar jhanda was a group wise competition promoting the assembling of Indian National Flag using reusable and eco friendly material. And Bhaarat ka Rang was held as an individual painting competition.
The first prize for Har Ghar Jhanda was awarded to Group5 (Rose Anna Dennis ,Swetha Brightly and Shilpa T S)-2 DC Maths A and the winner for Bharat ka rang was announced as Susan V S of 2 DC Maths A.
