INAUGURATION OF THE ZOOLOGY ASSOCIATION 2016-17

The formal inauguration of the Zoology Association was held on 23^rd June, 2016. The formal function commenced with a prayer song followed by the welcome address by Ms. Greeta James of III DC and the presentation of the report by the Association Secretary. The chief guest for the day, Professor Gladys Francis, Retd. HOD, Dept. of Zoology, St. Teresa’s college inaugurated the association activities by presenting a token of life. She delivered the inaugural address by delivering an important message for the 1^st years as well as the association. Dr. Reema Kuriakose, HOD, Dept. of Zoology delivered a speech welcoming the 1^st years to the Dept. and advised them to be well-wishers for the dept. The function concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Abinamol P.A, 2^nd year Representative.

This was followed by the, ‘Fresher’s day’ celebrations for the I DC students’ (2016 batch) in the afternoon. Ms. Athira Mathew of I DC Zoology was titled ‘Miss Fresher 2016′.
