Food Culture – Interaction With Chefs

In association with the upcoming Mathrubhumi Food Festival, an interaction between the postgraduate students of the Department of English and eight women chefs from eight different states of India was organized on the 20th of December 2017. The students had an enlightening session with the entrepreneurs, and had a lively discussion regarding the perks and pitfalls of the field, in addition to discussing various aspects of the different food culture from various parts of India. The entrepreneurs were brought to Kerala at the initiative of the members of the  Kudumbashree, some of whom were present for the interaction. Also present were members from Mathrubhumi.
