Field visit to water purification center, Aluva

On 19/07/2018, the Community College of St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam organized a field visit to Water Purification Plant, Aluva, as a part of Community Health Nursing. 9 students joined the visit under the guidance of faculty Ms. Vincy Vincent. The visit was started by 9am. The students enjoyed the facilities and smoothness of travel provided by Kochi Metro. By 10 am, we reached our destination. There a class about the plant was arranged by the Kerala Water Authority, Aluva division. Mr. Mahesh explained well about the structure and working of the water purification plant, and offered us a visit to the concerned areas.

Students got an excellent benefit by visiting the biggest water purification plant in Kerala with a capacity of 305 BillionLiter/day, and understand about the purification methods. Everything goes well by the grace of God Almighty, and we reached the college by 2pm.
