Women Entrepreneurship has an integral role in economic growth and welfare of the developing world. India has witnessed a record growth in women entrepreneurship in the last decade and women are increasingly pursuing their dreams in this direction. With the rapidly changing perception and increased social acceptance towards women entrepreneurship, this growth will soon be exponential. The national seminar is an attempt to explore the various entrepreneurial dimension of Kerala in the context of international business. The conference hosts a social and educational platform for women entrepreneurs to share thought and ideas on the shifting paradigms of women at the helm of business.
St Teresa’s College envisions a life-oriented education that empowers women to be agents of transformation and development at different levels of life. The national seminar is in harmony with the broad vision of our institution. The foundress of the institution: Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima, an ambassador of true love, could be considered one of the earliest women social entrepreneurs who has contributed to the social development of the state. The national seminar, hence is a tribute to her courage and social contribution
