Online Math challenge – Eureka is a series of Math challenges that was conducted on 11th July and 26th September,2020. It was a group activity, represented by three students from each class. It was designed in such a way to instill mathematical thinking and to improve logical reasoning in students. It was conducted twice, in July and September and had a participation of 36 students from the department. The quiz was conducted online on Google Meet and received overwhelming response from the students.
The competition challenged the students with hard core questions which ultimately helped them to improve in logical reasoning and mathematical thinking. It helped them to be more accurate and precise in mathematical calculations and thus to prepare themselves for quantitative aptitude tests.
