Energy Conservation Awareness Rally – URJAKIRAN

Energy Conservation Awareness Rally

The Department of Physics has observed the National Energy Conservation Day by conducting an Energy Conservation Awareness Rally on 14th December 2017. The programme was initiated under URJAKIRAN scheme of Govt. of Kerala in association with Energy Management Centre (EMC) and Centre for Environment and Development(CED), Govt. of Kerala.

The students of St. Teresa’s College actively participated in the rally. The national energy conservation day aims to give awareness about the energy conservation. Our energy sources, like fossil fuels, are in a stage of depletion. We need to accept this fact and try to use other energy sources like solar energy.
