EAT RIGHT BEAT ANEMIA – Intercollegiate, Iron Rich Snack making competition

As a part of the nutrition month celebration Department of clinical nutrition and dietetics has conducted ‘EAT RIGHT BEAT ANEMIA’ Intercollegiate Iron Rich Snack completion at Women’s Study Center on 30th  September 2019 at 11.am.

The aim of the program was to create awareness about anemia and the importance of nutritional diet among college going girls. Students from various colleges have shown their excellence in the field. Students presented with various varieties of iron-rich items, with low coast items that are easily available and easy to cook. The competition was judged by Ms. Aparna Anand of department Food Processing and Dr. Betty Rani Department of Home Science. Winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates.
