The department of chemistry have been organizing the Dr.(Sr.) Bertille Memorial Endowment lecture series in the loving memory of Dr.(Sr.) Bertille who was the founder HOD of the chemistry department. The first lecture of the series was given by Dr. S. Sugunan, Adjunct Professor, Department of Applied Chemistry, CUSAT on 28th July 2017. The topic was “Spectruscopy”. Prof. Sugunan has more than 40 years of experience teaching theoretical chemistry and spectroscopy. He has mentored more than 40 PhD students.
