Our college Union election was held on 12/7/2019.A digital software for paperless voting was used for the same.It was developed by three enthusiastic students of our department,under the guidance of their faculty in the year 2016-17.They used visual basic and sql for the development with a green initiative in mind.The whole election process was made hassle free and at the same time environment friendly.The main purpose of this software is reducing the use of ballot papers.The process was quick, convenient and secure.The result obtained after a few clicks from the last vote, decreased the interval of anticipation and also reduced the efforts for counting ballots.This year the election has successfully completed and the result announced on the same day.
