The department of chemistry published three books in the academic year 2017-18. The book entitled “Environmental Studies” is a joint venture by the faculties of the departments of chemistry, economics, botany and english. The book is authored by Dr. Ushamani M and Dr. Saritha Chandran A of the department of chemistry, Dr. Sheela D of the department of botany, Dr. Priya K. Nair of the department of english and Dr. Swathy Varma P. R of the department of economics. It is based on the UGC syllabus for undergraduate courses of all branches of higher education.
The book entitled “Advanced Inorganic, Organic and Environmental Chemistry” authored by Dr. Ushamani M., Dr. Saritha Chandran A., Smt. Mary Lincy K. A., Smt. Rupa V. Kamath and Smt. Elizabeth Mary P. A of the department of chemistry is for the II Semester BSc. Botany, Zoology and Family & Community Science.
The book entitled “Advanced Organic Chemistry” authored by Dr. Jaya T. Varkey, Smt. Annu Raju, Dr. Elizabeth Kuruvilla, Smt. Rani Maria Cyriac and Smt. Stephy P. S of the department of chemistry is for the IV Semester BSc. Botany, Zoology and Family & Community Science.
