Cyber Security Awareness Training for Non-Teaching staffs

Cyber Security Awareness Training for Non-Teaching staffs was organized by BCA (Cloud Technology and Information Security Management) in association with IQAC at the Seminar Hall on 21^st August, 2023. The Head of the Department, Ms. Archana Menon P, welcomed the gathering. 30 non-teaching staff from arts, central and science block attended the session.

The program created an awareness among the staff to be both more vigilant of cyber threats, as well as equip them with the knowledge they need to prevent and mitigate such incidents. Students of the 3^rd and 2^nd year BCA(CT&ISM) demonstrated various types of attacks and prevention techniques. The session gave insights into the latest security threats, cybersecurity best practices, the dangers of clicking on a malicious link or downloading an infected attachment, interacting online, disclosing sensitive information and so on.
