The Cyber Security Awareness Programme for school students was organized by BCA (Cloud Technology and Information Security Management) on 21st July, 2023 at St. Teresas Higher Secondary School, Ernakulam. The program created an awareness among the school students to be both more vigilant of cyber threats, as well as equip them with the knowledge they need to prevent and mitigate such incidents. The session was conducted by the students of IInd DC, BCA (CT & ISM).
Cybersecurity for teenagers has received much attention and has become rapidly growing topic due to increased availability of children and their consequent exposure to various online risks. The programme was conducted to raise awareness about the same.
The session ended as a very effective program, making the students aware of cyberthreats, and to take simple steps to be safer online – at home, school and in our communities.
