Cracking UGC-NTA NET Exam Workshop

The Department of Psychology, St Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam organized a workshop on the UGC NTA NET exam in association with Aifer Education on 10th January 2023, Tuesday in the Seminar Hall, Arts Block of the college. UGC NET is conducted for determining the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship, or both, for Indian Universities and Colleges, and can be a tough exam to crack. This workshop was open for UGC-NET aspirants from colleges in and around Ernakulam, Kottayam, and Alappuzha Districts. The workshop was held from 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

The resource person of the program was Mr. Anees Poovathi, Founder and CEO of Aifer Education. Aifer came into being in the year 2019 with the purpose of providing the best guidance and coaching to aspirants of competitive exams such as the UGC NTA NET exams. Mr. Anees Poovathi is a national record holder for qualifying UGC NET in 6 subjects and holds JRFs in Psychology and Commerce.

The workshop was attended by 135 participants including faculty and students from various colleges. Mr. Anees took interesting and exhaustive sessions on the pattern of UGC NTA NET exams and also took sessions on paper 1 topics. The participants got a thorough understanding of the exam patterns and also tips and tricks to help crack the exam. The program was well received by the audience.
